New Jersey Betting Market Will Pick Up For Football Season

This summer, several new sportsbooks will be coming to the New Jersey betting market. Expected to launch are sports betting options from The Score, a popular iOS sports app that is installed on millions of devices. As well as Unibet, a popular European sports book. And FOX Bet, the rebranded version of the Bet Stars app that has been live in New Jersey since last September.

Well, the market is becoming a bit saturated with more than a dozen operators currently live and more on the horizon. New Jersey still has a long way to go before it reaches its full potential. Online sports betting has been live for just under a year at this point. And while it may have seemed to have plateaued in the summer months with little sports action to bet on NFL win totals there will likely be an infusion of new betters come September to bet on football, or at least bettors looking for new deposit bonuses at online casinos and online sportsbook.

One to watch out for is The Score because so many people have had the app on the iPhone, as they were one of the first sports-specific apps to launch on the iOS App Store back in 2008 or 2009. They'll be able to add a sportsbook to the pocket of probably hundreds of thousands of folks in New Jersey who are interested or already betting on sports. This is a huge advantage over a number of other online operators that have to launch separate apps or create entirely new branding campaigns.

The Score is spending quite a bit of money to invest in the space. At a conference at the Meadowlands in New Jersey in May of 2019, they were the presenting sponsor, with a massively sized billboard as you walked into the event to announce their arrival to NJ betting.
